Paris, 1890.

The city glows beneath electric lights. Music spills from cabarets, artists gather in smoky cafés, and the streets are plastered with bold, irresistible posters promising spectacle, romance and adventure.

Decadence Tarot reimagines the traditional 78-card tarot through the vibrant advertising art of 1890s Paris. Inspired by vintage French lithographic posters, each card transforms familiar tarot symbolism into a little piece of old Paris, from glittering theatres and bustling boulevards to cafés, performers, fortune tellers and the unmistakable glow of the Moulin Rouge.

Bold typography, dramatic colour and wonderfully theatrical characters give the deck the feeling of a collection of antique posters gathered from the streets of Montmartre, while clear traditional symbolism keeps it practical and intuitive to read.

Expect romance, temptation, ambition, celebration, heartbreak, mystery and more than a little decadence. ❤️

The 1890s cabaret poster art on these cards is stunning, way bolder than my old Rider-Waite deck. I've been doing a three-card pull every morning before work and the electric-light Paris vibe genuinely puts me in a different headspace. The card stock is thicker than I expected too, shuffles beautifu

George ★★★★★

I picked this up mostly for the café and cabaret imagery, but the card stock is what surprised me—thick, matte, and it shuffles like a dream. Reading it feels like flipping through Toulouse-Lautrec posters in a dim Paris bar.

Charlotte F. ★★★★★

The 1890s cabaret poster art is what sold me, and in person the colors are even richer than the listing photos. I've been pulling a card each morning with my coffee and the Parisian café vibe makes it feel like a little ritual. Shuffles smoothly too, no sticking.
